Model setup overview¶

The Model setup page is meant for adding and preparing the pieces that need to be nested. So on this page you will be able to:

• importing pieces from *.svg or *.dxf files
• assign each piece the desired properties, such as material, initial rotation, quantity per pair, etc.
• manage sizes and select which ones to nest (this feature is available only if the imported pieces contain grading information, such as parts imported from Jevero)
• fill in some general information that will be included in the final report

Model details¶

The upper part of the page lets the user fill in some general data regarding the model and its production information, such as brand, model name, season, model number, sample size, etc.

This information is later included in the nesting report that can be generated from the Report configuration page.
