Botcha installation
We strongly suggest to use the package manager to install botcha, as it will be easier to keep it up to date. If you download our latest release from the website you will find a ZIP with a number of YAK files inside the compressed folder. To install simply drag and drop the appropriate YAK to your Rhino.
A better way to do this is to run the _PackageManager command in Rhino and search for botcha in the bar as
show in the image. Here you can click on Install to install the latest version.
Warning
Sometimes if you install multiple versions of the same plug-in Rhino does not properly clean the old version. You can find the plugin in the %appdata%\McNeel\Rhinoceros\packages\ RhinoVersion .
This happens mostly on windows, not on the macOS it seems
From the same UI you can also remove the plug-in, or you can delete the plugin directly from the file system.
Where does botcha store all its data?
Botcha creates a folder in %appdata% on windows and /Users/Shared/Library/Application Support on macOS that
is called BotchaXRhino. In this folder all the important files for the plug-in will be stored like licenses,
asset files and the likes.
