J_ShowGradeCurve¶
Show the graded curves and parts
Use this command to check the results of the grading of the model parts
Find it in: JPattern Grade toolbar
Steps¶
- Check the desired parts in the left list
- Set the fitting (if you created any) in the drop-down box above
- Check the desired sizes in the right list. Curves are now shown in the model
- Use above options to control what you want to see
Options¶
- Show base curves (shortcut: E): toggle to show or hide all graded base curves present in the model
- Show generating lines (shortcut: R): toggle to show or hide all curves needed to generate the selected parts
- Hide sample size (shortcut: W): use this command to hide the sample size
- Measure (shortcut: M): use this command to measure lengths on the model
- Highlight sample size (shortcurt: T): check this to highlight the sample size curves when pinning the graded model
- Pin (shortcut: P): use this command to close the dialog keeping the graded model visible
- Toggle grading centers (shortcut: Q): use this command to show or hide graded position of grading centers
Remarks¶
If any part of the model has some error (e.g. boundaries not properly closed, chains with ambiguos definition) a dialog will ask you if you want to proceed with grading or to check you model, using J_ChainAnalysis tool
J_HighlightSizes¶
Highlight curves of each size
This inspection command allows you to emphasize a single size while having multiple ones pinned on the screen
Find it in: JPattern Grade toolbar
Steps¶
- Start the command
- Move the mouse over the graded curves. Every curve of that size will be highlighted
- Click (or press Esc or Enter) to exit the command
