J_ProjectToXY¶

Project a 3D curve to the World XY plane

Sometimes curves are generated by error as 3D curves, so they do not lie on a single plane. Jevero requires all curves to be plane and lie on the World XY plane. This command allows you to project such curves so that they are correctly managed by Jevero.

Find it in: Jevero Model Analyser panel >> "Invalid entities" tab >> "Non planar curves" section

Steps¶

1. Open the Jevero Model Analyser panel
2. Go to the Invalid entities tab and click on the Check again button at the bottom
3. If any 3D curve is detected, it will be listed in the "non planar curves" box
4. Click the Project button

Remarks¶

The command can also be started manually from the Rhino command line. Just type J_ProjectToXY on the Rhino command line and select the curve you want to project.
