J_PartializeNode¶
Reduce domain of a dependant entity
This command can be used to reduce the extension or trim a dependant curve (like a margin or a gimp line) which normally covers the extension of the whole parent curve. You can also use this command to trim a base curve.
Find it in: JPattern Design toolbar
Steps¶
- Choose the curve that you want to reduce
- Click the point where you want to set the new start
- Click the point where you want to set the new end
- Repeat point 2 and point 3 to create other partializations or right-click to exit the command
Remarks¶
The partialization can be reverted using the same command, except if used on a base curve (in that case use Undo)
J_BrushToPartialize¶
Partialize multiple curves, selecting some of their portions by "brushing" over them
Find it in: JPattern Design toolbar
Steps¶
- Start the command and brush over the curves you want to partialize: the coloured portions will be removed.
- When satisfied, press ENTER or right-click to confirm and partialize the curves.
