Browse history of backup files for the current open document
With this command you can browse a list of automatically saved backup files for the current model.
You can pick one and restore it, to step back to a previous version of the document.
The restored file is open as read-only: you can save it with a new name and continue working on it.
Find it in: JPattern Design toolbar
Steps¶
- Click on the TimeMachine button in the JPattern Design toolbar
- In the dialog that shows up, scroll the list of available backups and optionally select one to restore
- Restore the selected backup by clicking on the Restore button or just close the dialog
Remarks¶
Note that Time Machine backups must be enabled in the Jevero Pattern Options (see here below).
Options¶
Options related to the Time Machine Backups can be set from the Jevero Pattern Options panel:
- Open Pattern Options
- Click on "Other options" tab
- In the "Autosave options" you can find:
- The interval in minutes between each backup: set this value to zero if you want to disable backups
- The maximum number of backups to keep for the same file: once the limit is reached, the oldest backup file is deleted when a new one is created
- The maximum memory space to use in Gigabytes for the overall backups: once the limit is reached the oldest backups are deleted to free up space
