Extend a curve on one or two sides

Extends the selected curve on one side or on both sides.

Find it in: JPattern Design toolbar

Steps

  • Select the curve to extend.

  • If the extension is on one side extend it to the point you want and click; you can provide a length on the command line to constrain extension to that length before clicking the point.

  • OR

  • If the extension is on two sides select the amount to extend.

  • The curve is extended to the right amount.

Remarks

When extending on one side only, the command works as follows: * if the command is activated before selecting the curve, the end to extend will be the one closest to the point where the user picks the curve * if the command is activated after selecting the curve, the end to extend will be by default at the curve's start.
